GAU College

Architectural Design and Concept
GAU College’s building design has been shaped according to contemporary architectural lines and modern educational needs. The minimalist approach used in the design of the building is based on the idea of creating an environment where students and faculty members can both relax and concentrate. A spacious atmosphere is provided with wide corridors and high ceilings in the interior spaces. In the facade design, white and natural stone materials were preferred in harmony with the natural texture of Kyrenia. The exterior of the building also includes local architectural elements, blending historical and cultural heritage with modern educational buildings.
Interior Arrangements
GAU College’s interior spaces are planned according to a student-centered design approach. Classrooms are designed to support interactive learning methods and it is aimed to use natural light at the maximum level. In this way, it is aimed for students to better concentrate during the lesson and receive a more efficient education. Wood and glass materials are used in a balanced way in the interior design. While wood provides natural warmth, glass details add a modern touch to the building. At the same time, the use of glass allows natural light to enter the interior spaces of the building.
Technological Infrastructure and Sustainability
The building is equipped with advanced technology that can meet today’s educational needs. With smart board systems, high-speed internet connection and modern sound-light systems, classrooms, conference halls and laboratories are designed to enhance students’ educational experiences. In addition, energy efficiency has been achieved by adopting a sustainable architectural approach. The building is equipped with energy-saving lighting systems, natural ventilation solutions and solar energy panels. These systems aim to have an environmentally friendly approach and reduce operating costs in the long term.
